May 10

“Remain in Me, and I will remain in you”, a promise given long ago by Jesus, and just as true today.  If you remain in Me, and I in you, you may ask whatever you wish and I will grant it.

You see, if you stay connected to Me, your requests will be in My will.  The things you ask will glorify Me.  I will always answer.  The result may not be the one you are looking for, but it is the one I know is best for you.

That is where trust comes from.  Know that I will answer in the way that is best for you, for others and for the situation.  And then rise up with a light heart, cast the cares off of your shoulders and go about your day trusting that I will take care of it in My time.

Remain in Me throughout the day, listening to My urgings, wondering at creation, reading the word, praising Me with songs of love.

Oh, how I love you, child.  I will draw closer and closer each day that you open the door by remaining in Me.

Soon we will be together forever, face to face.  But for now, by faith and by the memory of our time together, remain in Me and I will remain in you.

“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.”
‭‭John‬ ‭15:4-8‬ ‭NIV‬‬
