You are carrying so many burdens on your own. Why are you afraid to let them go and lay them at My feet?

There is a struggle inside of you. You are afraid of giving up. You are afraid of being vulnerable.

I have brought you to this place. I have been beside you every step of the way. You have not done this much, or come this far on your own.

Just as in prosperity and success, I am with you in the hard trials of life, ever and always.

Reach your hand out to Me. Let Me take it. I will ease your burdens.  

There is no instant answer. It is a long road we will walk through together, but oh, the rewards! The rewards will be great.

Walk with Me now, beloved. Now and forever.

Hebrews 11:6, The Passion Translation:

“And without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that He is real and that He rewards the faith of those who passionately seek Him.”

I have a covenant of love with you, My child. A covenant to love and protect you now and always.

A covenant I made with you before you were born when sin was born through Adam and Eve, my first borns.

This covenant underscores all time. It is as real for you as it was for Adam.

Never feel that you are separated from Me, for this covenant of love ties Me to you. Only you know how to break it.  

It is like a cord that touches from My finger to your soul.

Lay back now and close your eyes. Imagine such a connection, forever assured by Christ’s suffering on the cross.

My love is never contingent on your daily missteps. It is a covenant, My promise that I will always be with you.

Deuteronomy 7:9, New King James Version:

“Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.”

Oh, how great the mighty have fallen! Oh, how majestic My love for you! Those who I deemed close to Me, those who have done great work for Me have turned their hearts away!

Do not be like them, My beloved child. Every day enter into the stillness of My presence.  Every day fall on your knees and give your life anew. 

Say, “I CHOOSE YOU!”

There is a power in those words beyond more than you can imagine. Those three simple words cast the devil right out of your life.

Do not be like the fallen ones. They wanted to belong to Me, but their daily steps led them farther and farther away until their final choice was made.

How Heaven sorrows over the daily choices that are made. Everyone falls, every day, but the choice to serve Me encapsulates you.

Keep your eyes fixed on Me, for I CHOSE YOU.

Isaiah 12:2, New International Version:

“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; He has become my salvation.”

You have many issues on your mind this morning. Don’t let your faith in Me or in My plan for your life falter.

I am with you now, and I will continue being with you. I will always guide you and never let you down.

Take care of those things you need to today. I will be helping you. It will all turn out okay.  Let your soul be freed of this perceived burden, as it is Mine to bear, not yours.  

Total trust in Me will free you from the chains that you have put yourself in. There is no sense in that, as I have promised over and over to carry them for you.

Come into the joyous light of communion with Me where you will learn the value of letting your earthly cares go. These steps will form you into the dynamic person I have planned for you to be, covered in My love and armed with My strength.

Psalms 78:35, The Passion Translation:

“They remembered that God, the Mighty One, was their strong protector, the Hero-God who would come to their rescue.”

You have accepted the fact that I forgive you over and over. Are you holding anger or unforgiveness towards someone?

I have asked you to deal with others as I deal with you, yet you make the choice to hang on to the bitterness, the pain and the unforgiveness. 

What am I saying to you now? How am I holding you in My arms now? 

Have you ever turned your back against Me? Have you over and over made the choice to do something “exciting” rather than spend time in the Bible or prayer with Me? Have you been too “busy”?  

How many times have I reached out and brought you back to Me and washed you white as snow?

I am asking you to make that same choice, to give someone else the gift of forgiveness.  Perhaps the sin against you is so heinous that you don’t have the ability to let it go.  

How I long to have you tell Me that, and lay it at My feet! Then I will give you the strength to forgive. I will cover you with My blanket of love and you will feel peace like you have not felt in a very long time.  

It is the right way. It is the only way to My kingdom of love and peace.

You don’t have the ability on your own. Reach out your hand. Let Me lead you there.

Mark 11:25, The Passion Translation:

“And whenever you stand praying, if you find that you carry something in your heart against another person, release him and forgive him so that your Father in heaven will also release you and forgive you of your faults.”

Even now I watch you with love and pride. Yes, you have fallen. Yes, you have strayed, but every time you come back to Me, by grace, all is not only forgiven, but all is forgotten.

Every day is a clean slate. Don’t separate yourself from Me because of your guilt.  

Believe in My forgiveness. Believe in the fresh start I give you every day, and return that forgiveness.  

Is that hard for you?  

Do you think it is easy for Me when I see you purposely turn your face away? It hurts, dear one.  

My love knows no bounds, and when you choose to forsake Me for the pleasures of this world, My choice is to let you go. But you are never out of My care, and with pain, I watch you make small and big mistakes, making the distance between us great.

But what joy as you turn towards Me again! I want to fold you into My arms, overjoyed!  You are back! Now we will spend time together! You will grow in Me and My love!  

But the process is repeated over and over.

Yet, I will NEVER, EVER GIVE UP ON YOU. You are My chosen love and My delight.  Now and forever.

Ephesians 2:8-9 The Passion Translation:

“For by grace you have been saved by faith. Nothing you did could ever earn this salvation, for it was the love gift from God that brought us to Christ! So no one will ever be able to boast, for salvation is never a reward for good works or human striving.”

Every beat of your heart is known by Me. Every breath you take is known by Me.  

I see your small sighs, your tears. Every one of them is important to Me.  

I am beside you now, as I always have been. Although you cannot see Me yet, you can learn to sense My presence.

Close your eyes and envision Me sitting beside you. You won’t have to think too hard, because I really am! Keep that picture in your mind throughout the day.  

Every time you see a miracle occur, or any time you know I answered your prayers, write it down in a special book and refer to it often, so it will be a testimony of My love and care for you and for your family to treasure from generation to generation, for you are real to Me, beloved one.  

Think on these things.  Your Father loves you.

Psalms 77:11-12, The Passion Translation:

“Yet I could never forget all your miracles, my God, as I remember all Your wonders of old. I ponder all You’ve done, Lord, musing on all Your miracles.”

Your heart and your soul belong to Me, beloved. Put them in My loving care to always protect you, for you feel so alone sometimes. 

Even if you are surrounded by many family members, or sincerely by yourself, your sense of loneliness can be profound. What you are feeling is the separation between us…some days are more vivid than others.

Don’t give in to those feelings. Go to a quiet place and open My love message to you.  Yes, the Bible is full of stories of My incredible love and activity in the lives of those I have chosen.

Reading the Psalms will be encouraging. David felt much the same way you do. His heart longed to feel Me close to him. You can read how I was with him through his entire life, guiding and protecting him.

I am with you just as I was with David. Take comfort in reading the stories of how I walked closely with him, and know I will walk as closely with you, too, if not even more so.

Once you have shored your soul up with that knowledge, go see if you can reach out to someone else who is lonely. Visit the sick, take food to the needy.

By reaching out to others, you have shored up your heart and soul with joy, the peaceful kind of joy that comes from knowing you have furthered My kingdom.  

We are a team, dear one. You are never alone.

Psalms 139:1-4, The Passion Translation:

“Lord, You know everything there is to know about me. You perceive every movement of my heart and soul, and You understand my every thought before it even enters my mind. You are so intimately aware of me, Lord. You read my heart like an open book and You know all the words I’m about to speak before I even start a sentence! You know every step I will take before my journey even begins.”

I want to help you, beloved child. I am reaching out for you now, to still the deep longing in your soul for better circumstances, for real need in your life.

I know your needs, as you believe them most passionately to be, but I also know your REAL needs.  

I have you on this walk of faith. Your faith is growing with your needs. 

Am I cruel? No. I AM LOVE.  

When I tell you that one day you will understand, in the weakness of your faith, it sounds lame as you implore Me to immediately help you. It causes Me great pain to see your anguish and to hold Myself back from rushing down and making all things right.

But I KNOW, dear one, as only I can know. Time is your friend in this instance. Learn to accept it, as well as the slow dawning of the answers you seek.

Our closest times together can be right now if you allow it. Lay every prayer and petition at My feet. Keep them there. Don’t be tempted to pick them back up again. End by thanking Me for answering.

What you have surrendered to Me is not just the problems you face, but your feeble attempts to fix it yourself. What I will reward you with is the peace that passes all understanding.  

In the midst of turmoil, fear and pain, you have presented your petition to Me, showing and thanking Me for answering it, and I have rewarded you with peace.

Keep doing that through the day if you start to slip into your panic mode again. The Bible is true, I am true, My love and care for you is true. Trust in that.

Philippians 4:6-7, The Passion Translation:

“Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell Him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding will guard your heart and mind through Jesus Christ.”

Across the fields of time I stand with you, now and forever, joined together by one act, one act of absolute and unthinkable love.

That one act joined you and Me together as nothing else ever could. Please don’t ever lose sight of that incredible gift.  

If you were the only person on a lonely planet, I would still have given My one and only Son to die for you.

Jesus would have left My side, where all Heaven waited at His beck and call, to come and walk with you for 33 years until He bravely and with so much love, gave up His life for you.  Even if it was only you.

That’s how much I value your life. That is how much I love you. 

Such love can’t be measured in a human’s description. It’s not even on the charts.

But the same God who planned you, created you, protected you, cared for you, and died for you, is standing in front of you here, right now, asking you to give your life to Him again, to love and trust Him.

Take My hand, beloved child. I will never let you down.

John 3:16, The Passion Translation:

“For here is the way God loved the world—He gave His only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in Him will never perish but experience everlasting life.”
